Moon Makerspace

Welcome to the first Moon Makerspace! Students in grades 7-12 and adults 18 and older can experiment with our creative and technological materials on January 25 between 11 AM and 4 PM.

Our regular makerspace stations are:

  • Button maker
  • Cricut machine & laptop
  • Fine arts with acrylic paints, chalk pastels, markers, pens, colored pencils, and crayons
  • Papercrafting with scrapbooking scissors, tape, glue, and tissue paper
  • Photo printer with USB drive and full-size SD card/microSD adapter compatibility
  • Dremels with interchangeable tips for grinding and cutting
  • Woodburning stylus with interchangeable tips for embossing and stamping
  • Soldering kit with multimeter, tweezers, solder dispenser, and wire cutter
  • Coworking space

Our featured makerspace station is:

  • 3D printing pens with 1.75 mm PLA filaments

This program is for students in grades 7-12 and adults 18 and older. Students in grades 7-8 must attend with a caregiver.

Please fill out the SignUp Genius form so we can prevent long waits for stations. You will be required to sign a waiver upon entry and follow the Moon Makerspace rules.

Supplies are limited, so donations are highly appreciated!

P.S. We are working on opening a makerspace for kids in February. Stay tuned!
