The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is a nonprofit, nonpolitical women’s volunteer service organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education and patriotism. The Jacob Ferree Chapter, NSDAR, is hosting a genealogy workshop on April 28 at the Moon Township Library, Sky Room, from 11 am to 1 pm. Several volunteer genealogists will be on hand to assist you.
Any woman 18 years or older may join the DAR by documenting her lineage to an ancestor, male or female, who aided the cause of American independence through military, civil or patriotic service.
