Moon Library requires all patrons to provide their library card or a legal ID to check out any items. If you normally give your address, memorized library card barcode, or phone number during checkout, you are not able to do so now. You cannot check out items until you provide your library card or an ID like a driver’s license or passport.
This policy ensures that you will be notified when items are available for pickup, protects you from identity theft, and prevents accruing late fines on items incorrectly checked out on your account.
